Aizawl: Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla inaugurated the ‘Magnetic Mizoram Roadshow’ and highlighted various USPs of the state, its mystic beauty and invited investments from across all sectors in the state, an official source said.
The roadshow aimed at generating awareness and publicity about Mizoram and it was also an official curtain raiser announcement for its first investor’s meet ‘Magnetic Mizoram Summit’ to be held in Aizawl in April 2018.
According to the CM, the summit would usher in a new era of collaboration, not only for investments but also for new skills, advanced production and technology in various sectors.
Thanhawla said a seamless exchange of experiences and innovative ideas during the Summit would pave the way for various developmental projects being undertaken in collaboration with outside players.
He also expressed his joy in interacting with some of the leading players of corporate India and some major stakeholders of the hospitality industry and was sure that all the participants would be mesmerised by the beauty of Mizoram and hospitality of its people, it added.
The Honorable chief minister of Mizoram Sh. Lal Thanhawla, The Honorable minister for planning & finance Sh. Lalsawta, Secretary planning Dr C. Vanlalramsanga, Director tourism Sh. Biakthanmawia Pauta, Director Horticulture Ms Elizabeth Saipari and Managing Director Innovations India & State Partner of Mizoram captain Rahul Bal were presented there.
The roadshow was attended by the leading corporate honchos of India, Diplomats, Industry leaders, senior government officials, Travel and Tour operators and media. It aimed at generating awareness and publicity about the state of Mizoram, was also the official curtain raiser announcement for its first-ever investor’s meet.
