On the second half of Budget session 2018 today, the parliament observed a grand welcome of Prime Minister Modi, BJP leaders including Amit Shah and others welcomed the PM after a historic win of the party in the NE elections.

BJP uproots CPIM in Tripura

Results for the three poll-bound states of Northeast India has been announced on Saturday. On this day, BJP created a history by rooting out the long ruled Communist Party from the state.

Communist Party(CPIM) was a party that has ruled the state for more than two and a half decade, but now the BJP has dethroned the party and ended its reign in the state.

BJP making it a clear win in the state is now ready to form a government in the state with the support of its ally party Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura(IPFT).

However, the official oath-taking process is left along with the announcement of the name of the Chief Minister from the party in the alliance.

NPP-BJP alliance in Meghalaya

Bhartiya Janata Party was in an unexposed alliance with the National People’s Party before polls and now both the parties have announced to form a party with the support of other regional parties as well.

The parties those are extending their support to the duo include United Democratic Front, Hill State People’s Democratic Front, and others.

The National People’s Party gave a tough competition to the Congress and captured 15 seats. Now the party with the support of its old friend from NEDA, BJP and other regional parties are set to form a government in the state.

Interestingly, the MLAs from NPP and these regional parties recently met the Governor of Meghalaya Ganga Prasad and later the meeting they made an announcement of the coalition government.

NDPP-BJP took over NPF in Nagaland  

Nagaland and its politics observed a major turn as the BJP-NDPP alliance has taken over the ruling Naga People’s Front in the state.

As per the final records, BJP-NDPP alliance giving a tough competition to the NPF, bags 33 seats while NPF wrapped up at 21 seats and now the party is seeking a post-poll alliance.

As per the information, the party is now seeking an alliance with the BJP and for this, a letter has been written to the BJP President Amit Shah to form a government, reminding him of the old friendship.
